INFORMATION AND PHOTOS

LAST SUPPER WEB SITE

I have been doing research for sculpting  and casting  a life size scene of all 13 figures in THE  LAST SUPPER for a number of years. The web site is now on the internet at www.lastsuppersculpture.com . The site will be regularly updated  as the remainder of the pieces are ready to photograph.  Jesus and each Apostle will be on individual pages with selected scripture, references and historical information.

CURRENT COMMISSION INFORMATION

The latest commission is in progress and is of the "Mascot", a paddlewheel boat that made a round trip from Portland, Oregon to Woodland, Washington until the early 1900's. The sculpture will be incorporated in a fountain and pond setting at the location the Mascot docked in Woodland. More details will be available later.

All  bronzes I sculpt are cast in silicon bronze and  finished in the traditional manner using brown tones and in some cases a  polychrome finish. All pieces  are thoroughly researched  and given careful attention to  detail. I either personally execute or supervise the phases of  production from original model, molds, wax pattern producing and chasing, welding sections and windows, tooling detail, patinas, mounting on bases and applying protective coatings.

My intent in designing this site is to make viewing the pieces as user friendly as possible. I have tried to get the best quality for detail and still have reasonable loading times. The approximate loading times are indicated and  after viewing a sculpture in the GALLERY some can be seen from all sides in the VIDEO page.
